Delighted to reveal that Joan will guest star in E! Channels upcoming drama series 'The Royals' which stars Elizabeth Hurley & William Moseley.. Joan will play the role of The Grand Duchess of Oxford, mother to Elizabeth's character of Queen Helena...
The series is a contemporary drama which features the exploits of a fictional British Royal family set in modern day London, who inhabit a world of opulence and regal tradition, which ultimately comes with a price tag of duty, destiny and intense public scrutiny!  Part fairy tale, part cautionary tale, the show is described as a tale of men & women corrupted by power, wealth & desire!             


Joan's character of The Grand Duchess is the only woman in the world more formidable and imposing than her daughter, the Grand Duchess will enter the show with an entourage and an agenda...
