Joan was the star guest at a charity afternoon tea in aid of Shooting Star Chase at The Dorchester earlier... Joan who is patron of the charity was joined by other celebrities including Simon Cowell ..

BUTTERFLY BALL 2013 / STONEWALL DINNER L'ANIMA .. LONDON .. MAY 16TH 2013..

Joan enjoyed a wonderful dinner on Thursday evening at Italian restaurant L'animain the company of her good friend Christopher Biggins and some friends from Stonewall.. Joan and Biggins are supporters of the charity and last year donated a dinner at The Ivy with both of them to the highest bidder... Here is a lovely shot of the group.. Also on Thursday evening Joan made an appearance in Battersea at the Annual Butterfly Ball to support the Cauldwell Childrens Charity.. Here is a photo of Joan with The Duchess of York..

CHARITY UPDATE: BRAINBOX - THE SUPPORT STARTS HERE!

Joan gives her time and energy in supporting many worthwhile causes, the most recent of these is a charity called Brainbox which helps families who have a child with an acquired brain injury. The charity which is based in the North East was set up in 2010. Joan is delighted to be a patron for the charity. The Kick Up Your Heels Celebrity online Auction raises funds to support Lancaster Opera House's Arts in Education Outreach Initiative. The Auction now in it's 5th year, has over the past 4 years raised over $35,000! The money raised from the current auction will help support summer workshops for 70 children aged 6-16.. The Lancaster Opera House is a non-profit 501 Performing Arts Theater, in a suburb of Buffalo NY. Built in 1894, this 375 seat Victorian style theater, has been providing quality entertainment for the last 31 years.. Joan will bring some sparkle to Channel 4's Christmas schedule when she appears on a new series of 'Celebrity Deal or no Deal' to raise money for her favourite charity, Shooting Star Chase Childrens Hospice.. Joining Joan on the show will bw friends Glynis Barber and husband Michael Brandon, Helen Lederer, Lisa Maxwell and 'Dynasty' star Emma Samma.. The episode will record next Wed.. SILVER HILL HOSPITAL GALA .. CIPRIANI NEW YORK .. NOVEMBER 28TH 2012..

Joan and Percy attended the annual Silver Hill Hospital Gala at Cipriani's New York last night, the gala which raises funds for patient scholarships, this year paid tribute to Neil Sedaka.. After her most glamorous appearance at the Carousel Ball in Beverly Hills on Saturday night, Joan hopped over to New York, in time to attend another worthwhile event, the Annual Angel Ball, hosted by Denise Rich and featuring performances by Natalie Cole and Smokey Robinson. The Annual Shooting Star Chase Charity Ball was held last night at London's Dorchester hotel.. Due to filming commitments, Joan could not attend, however she did donate, for auction, the gown she wore in the popular television ad campaign for Snickers, which is still airing on all channels. Delighted to report the gown was sold to the highest bidder for £4,000..... Joan is a patron of the Shooting Star Chase children's charity....
