ESTHER & THE KING .. DVD RELEASE.. KSM KLASSIKER .. SEPTEMBER 2012

Just received my copy of the new German release of Joan's 1960 biblical epic 'Esther & The King' in which Joan co-starred with Richard Egan and was directed by Raoul Walsh.. I was delighted to discover this edition is the definite version up to now, as previous releases have all been second rate vhs quality, full screen atrocities! This German release, which includes a Dolby English soundtrack as well as a German track in 16.9 widescreen, with the glorious technicolor evident in the excellent print of the film.. Extras include the original trailer, bio's of Joan and Richard Egan and a short photo gallery.. As you can see the sleeve is reversible with original poster art on one side and the other similar to the Fox video release from the 90's.. This edition is Region 2 for Europe..
